Our next event — “Pork & Cork” — takes place on Wednesday 13th August at our EC1 shop, and as the name suggests, we’ll be combining two of life’s greatest pleasures: exceptional pork and expertly chosen wines.
We’re talking BBQ, Iberico, and bold pairings that go far beyond your usual "red with red meat" routine.
At the helm of the wine pairings is none other than Victoria Sharples — wine expert, sommelier, and all-round palate genius. She’ll be guiding us through a series of unexpected (and utterly delicious) matches for our carefully selected pork cuts, from smoky grilled favourites to indulgent Iberico treasures.
If you think you know what wine goes with meat, prepare to be pleasantly surprised — and possibly converted.
This isn’t a stiff, formal tasting event. Wine & Meat Nights are relaxed, educational (without the pressure), and seriously tasty. It’s a chance to gather with fellow food lovers, ask questions, eat well, and drink better — all without worrying about what fork to use.
