WHERE WE ARE

James George, Head Butcher Tom Richardson-Hill and Richard Turner sitting outside the shop in Islington

A lifelong ambition fulfilled, Turner & George’s first butcher’s shop is located at:

399 ST. JOHN STREET
LONDON
EC1V 4LD.

Tucked a stone’s throw away from the bustle of Angel station and a number of independent boutiques and restaurants, No. 399 sticks out as one of the only surviving New river Company houses in the area. Built just prior to the Victorian era and probably reconstructed around 1845, it remained a butcher’s shop here until the 1990s.

Restored to its glorious heyday, this is where you’ll find a contemporary take on the butcher’s shops of the past. Our shelves are stacked high, and hooks gleaming with high quality, British native breed meats. Our small butchers team here use traditional cutting techniques, hand make our ranges of sausages and burgers, and combine all of this with a friendly and knowledgeable approach to the meats we sell over the counter. This shop truly is a carnivore’s paradise.

TURNER & GEORGE ARE NOW SOUTH OF THE RIVER!
