Richard H. Turner is an acclaimed executive chef from the likes of Hawksmoor, Pitt Cue, Blacklock and Foxlow with an unwavering passion for food. James George is a man who knows and loves his trade – a keen advocate of traditional butchery and cutting methods.

Together, they formed East London Steak Company in 2010, and with demand hammering at their door, Turner & George was born. The established butcher’s shop is a haven for food enthusiasts, both online and over the counter at both their shops in Angel and Waterloo.

GET Behind the block

Once a month we run after hours butchery classes at our EC1 shop, led by one of our expert butchers. They’re a fantastic chance to get hands on, and learn some skills to take home.

Most recently I used their baby back ribs for a BBQ and was blown away by the taste and texture when compared to my previous online supplier.
