Are you keen to learn more about wine? Would you like to sample some wine and also eat some delicious meaty treats whilst undertaking this education? And does the idea of doing all of this within the tranquil interior of London's top butchery shop appeal?
There is obviously only one answer to these three questions!
However, to expand just a bit further, Turner & George are very pleased to announce that we are restarting a series of intimate events over at EC1. And to kick off, we thought that a tasting of the new range of wines that we have in would be in order, on Wednesday 23rd February 2022.
The session will be led by Victoria Sharples (Senior wine judge, experienced blender and one of the best palates in the biz) who has been working closely with us to develop a selection of vino that compliments the fine meat we sell.
We shall be travelling beyond France and Italy and four brilliant red blends are in the offering. Wines that lend themselves to so many dishes and situations, we call them 'The Shape Shifters'. We shall also be firing up the grill to demonstrate a variety of pairings, plus sharing some knowledge straight from the Butcher's mouth.
With red wine, it's not just about steak you know.
