THE FATHER’S DAY STEAK & BEER BOX

£65.00

Because dads, sheds and seriously good steak have always belonged together.

This Father's Day, we've decided that one steak simply doesn't fit all.

Some dads are traditionalists. Men who appreciate balance, craftsmanship and the simple pleasure of having both Sirloin and Fillet on the same bone. For them, there's our 1kg Porterhouse – arguably the king of steaks and certainly one of the finest things you can put over hot coals.

Others prefer to take a more direct route. Bigger, bolder and gloriously unapologetic. That's where the 1kg Bone-in Ribeye comes in. Deeply marbled, richly flavoured and built for the sort of barbecue that attracts neighbours from three gardens away.

Whichever camp your old man falls into, he'll be getting a steak selected by the team, properly aged and ready to make him ruler of the grill on Sunday 21st June.

To help things along, we've teamed up with our friends at Billericay Brewery to include three bottles of excellent Essex beer.

My Old Man (3.9%) is a proper traditional amber bitter. The sort of beer your dad probably remembers fondly from a pub that no longer exists. Malty, balanced and endlessly drinkable.

Citra (4.4%) is Billericay's hugely popular single-hopped golden ale, packed with bright citrus character, fresh grapefruit notes and just enough tropical fruit to keep things interesting. Refreshing, lively and dangerously easy to drink on a warm afternoon.

Rhythm Stick (4.8%) is a smooth, chestnut-coloured ale with layers of caramel, toasted malt and a satisfyingly moreish finish. The sort of beer that quietly disappears far quicker than intended.

We chose these beers not just because they're excellent, but because they're brewed a few miles from where many of us call home. It's a celebration of great Essex brewing paired with great British beef.

Whether Dad is tending the barbecue, hiding in the shed, offering unsolicited DIY advice or simply claiming he doesn't want a fuss made this year, this box should do the trick.

He might even share.

Available for delivery only from Thursday 18th June to Saturday 20th June.

And yes, before you ask, we really did shoot the photos in a shed.
